Motivation is Temporary, keeping it real with yourself is the need of the Hour

Motivation is Temporary, raise your bar higher

What is Motivation?

Let's understand why Motivation is Temporary.

The word Motivation comes from the word ‘Motive’.

Our every action, work, or cause of action is a result of a Motive. There’s always a catch behind everything. Nobody goes on to do anything without a motive.

We go to work 9-hour jobs because our motive is to earn money. With that money, we look after our livelihood, to make sure that there's a roof above our head, food in our belly & cloth on our body.

Working on jobs isn't everyone's cup of Tea. Not that there's anything wrong in working for or with someone. People are gradually drifting towards Entrepreneurship.

Why is it that we seek Motivation, in the first place?

Every once in a while we find ourselves in this awkward situation. Where we feel helpless, we see other people who are living their dreams. And here we are working 9-hour job. It sucks!

The only option we have is to turn things around. To do that we seek Motivation, assuming that's the answer. But little did we know, that Motivation is Temporary. Motivation is a drug.

A drug that immediately wears off. Maybe, just maybe we will hit the floor the other day to get some exercise. But this doesn't prolong.

Your Passion, Desire, and Virtues give birth to your Motives. Once your Motives has identified then there is no stopping you.

When we find ourselves in that predicament; to break the pattern we start exploring Motivation to get the Moral High.

If you’re an Indian, then it takes no convincing that you have binge-watched Sandeep Maheshwari’s Videos.

The Videos he puts out are pretty awesome! 😊

Apart from that, there are a plethora of motivation videos on YouTube, watching such videos would give you a temporary high.

Because, there’s this underlying belief within us all, that if he can orchestrate it, prove it, or better yet Do it.

Then so can we!

Up and until this point all goes well after enough time has passed, it is then that things begin to unravel.

We are all accustomed to a particular routine and Mindset that we hold dear through thick and thin.

To actually achieve what now seems inconceivable, for which you are seeking Motivation. To actually achieve that; you need a heart-to-heart talk. You need to cut the crap, and make sacrifices on your diet, pleasure, and routine.

That is the only way to achieve success.

Motivational Quotes wouldn’t matter less, it’s become more of a style statement.

But, there is one thing that is permanent.

Here is a step-by-step Guide to do that

Cultivate Monk Mindset

This one sounds awesome, but it’s quite traumatic in reality. There are many sacrifices that you are gonna have to make.

Sacrifices on comfort, lifestyle choices, and your peers. A Monk Mindset, suggest you wake up before 6 AM or 5 If you can, Workout like it’s you are going to fight a Spartan. 20 Minutes for Mindfulness, that’s how you go on beginning your day.

Become a Stoic

You must have read ‘The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck’ Mark Manson is a Modern Day Stoic. In his book, he has laid down the principles of leading a ‘No Bullshit’ Life.

Mark is saying that in life we have a limited amount of Fucks to give. And very often we come across people who provoke the shit out of us, which leaves us with no choice, but to give a Fuck.

Becoming a stoic you will learn how to not do that, and live a fulfilling Life.

It is for that reason, that organization do not rely on intrinsic Motivation alone

An Organization can Motivate employees by appreciating their efforts, congratulating them, and making an example out of them.

Yet, at the end of the day, it comes down the money, that is the real proof.

Money itself is the real motive behind
everything.

The reason why Motivation is Temporary is that it eventually wears off. Lookout for permanence in this feeble existence.

Values are eternal.
